Master Dicks Mfune joined the Department in June 2014 after successfully working as a Human Management Resources Officer in the civil Service where he rose up to the position of Principal Human Resource Management Officer and Chief Lecturer (Management) at Staff Development Institute. He is a seasoned management trainer, researcher, facilitator and consultant with over twenty years experience in the public, private and non- governmental organizations in Malawi.
He is currently reading his PhD in Development Studies with University of Malawi. He holds a Master of Public Management (MPM) Degree from University of Bocconi, Milan, Italy and a Bachelor of Arts (Human Resource Management) from the University of Malawi). His major research areas of interest are strategic human resource management, public sector reform, strategic management, and institutions and development. His areas of consulting include strategic human resource management, strategic planning, corporate governance, facilitation of workshops, among others.
